1. Description
The Taiwan Giant Guava is a premium, high-yielding variety of Psidium guajava developed and perfected in Taiwan's nutrient-rich soils. It has become incredibly popular globally (especially in tropical regions and India) because it is highly adaptable, yields fruit quickly, and produces massive, high-quality guavas. Unlike wild or common guavas, which are often heavily seeded and hard, this variety focuses on a high flesh-to-seed ratio.

2. Size
Fruit Weight: These are noticeably large! A single fruit typically weighs between 250 to 500 grams (roughly 0.5 to 1.1 lbs), though under perfect agricultural conditions, some giant specimens can reach up to 1 kilogram (2.2 lbs).

Dimensions: They generally range from 7 to 12 centimeters in diameter, taking on a round, ovate, or slightly pear-like shape.

3. Colour
Outer Skin: At maturity, the skin is a beautiful light green to a soft pale yellow. It has a glossy, bright appearance that looks incredibly fresh.

Inner Flesh: Depending on the specific sub-strain you buy or plant, the flesh comes in two primary colors:

White/Off-White: The most common commercial variety, boasting a clean, translucent, or pearly white flesh.

Pink/Red: A highly sought-after strain known for its striking pink interior that provides a gorgeous contrast with the green skin.

4. Texture
Outer Skin: The peel is often slightly bumpy or "pebbled" rather than perfectly smooth, which is a classic indicator of a high-quality Taiwan guava.

Flesh: This is where the variety truly shines. It has a remarkably dense, thick, and crispy texture (reminiscent of a crisp apple or a firm pear) when eaten at the preferred stage of ripeness.
