🥭 Fruit Profile
Appearance: A massive, oblong fruit with a skin that turns a beautiful golden-yellow with a slight reddish blush when ripe.

Flavor: It has a rich, honey-like sweetness with a subtle hint of tartness. Some descriptions note a "saffron-like" aroma.

Texture: The flesh is thick, creamy, and buttery. While it is mostly fiberless and smooth, some older variations can be slightly fibrous near the stone.

The Seed: Even the kernel is huge, weighing between 150g to 200g.

🌳 Tree & Cultivation
The Noor Jahan tree is a medium-sized evergreen, typically reaching 10–15 feet in height. Because the fruits are so heavy, the branches often require support to prevent them from snapping under the weight.

Currently, this variety is critically rare. In its home region of Katthiwada, there are only a handful of original, century-old trees remaining, though conservation efforts and grafting have helped spread saplings to nurseries and hobbyist orchards across India.
