Size and Shape: These mangoes are notably large and heavy, often weighing between 300g to 500g (and sometimes even more). They have a distinct roundish-oblong shape with a prominent "beak" at the bottom.

Appearance: The skin is relatively thick and remains greenish-yellow even when fully ripe, often adorned with small white dots (lenticels). Unlike other varieties that turn bright orange, Malgova keeps a subtle, rustic look.

Flavor Profile: It offers a classic, old-school mango flavor—intensely sweet with a hint of tartness. The aroma is deep and floral, filling the room once the fruit is sliced.

Texture: The golden-yellow pulp is fiberless, firm, and incredibly juicy. Because it lacks the "stringy" texture found in many other varieties, it is a favorite for eating fresh or making high-quality desserts.

Stone and Yield: Despite its large exterior, the seed (stone) inside is relatively small and flat, meaning you get a very high percentage of edible fruit per mango.
