Size: Medium to large compared to standard guavas. They are typically round or slightly pear-shaped, averaging about 2.5 to 4 inches (6 to 10 cm) in diameter, weighing anywhere from 150 to 400 grams.

External Colour: The skin starts as a vibrant green and matures into a pale, yellowish-green or light creamy yellow when fully ripe.

Internal Colour: True to its name, the inner flesh is a striking creamy white or pale ivory, occasionally showing a very faint yellow tint near the rind.

Skin Texture: The outer skin is relatively smooth but features slight, natural bumps or ridges. It is thin and completely edible.

Flesh Texture: It offers a wonderful contrast. The outer flesh near the skin is crisp and firm (similar to an apple or pear), while the inner flesh surrounding the seeds becomes soft, juicy, and smooth as it ripens.

Seed Texture: It contains a central cavity with small, hard, yellowish seeds. While they are edible, most people swallow them whole or remove them, as they are too hard to chew comfortably.

Taste/Flavor: It is known for its high sugar content, making it notably sweet with a mild, tropical fragrance. It lacks the intense muskiness of pink guavas, offering a cleaner, more refreshing dessert-like flavor.
