Striking Appearance: The fruit is ovate to oblong in shape, typically weighing about 1 lb (450g). At maturity, the skin turns a bright yellow and develops a beautiful, deep pinkish-red to crimson blush, often likened to a tropical sunset.

Superior Texture and Flavor: The flesh is a deep yellow color and is notably 100% fiberless. It has a smooth, buttery, and firm consistency with a rich, sweet, and classic mango aroma, making it excellent for fresh slicing and salads.

Tree Characteristics: The trees are vigorous but tend to maintain a manageable medium size with a compact, dense canopy. This makes them ideal for home landscapes or medium-sized gardens where space may be limited.

Consistent Productivity: Known as an "over-achiever," the Lippens is a heavy and reliable producer. It consistently yields large crops year after year, with the fruit typically ripening from late June through July.

Disease Resistance: One of its strongest selling points is its natural resistance to Anthracnose and other common pathologies compared to many other Florida varieties. It is also noted for having a fair amount of cold resistance, which is why it is widely grown in the Canary Islands.
