1. Appearance and Size
Shape: It is generally medium to large in size with an ovate-oblique (oval but slightly tilted or asymmetrical) shape.

Color: When ripe, the skin turns a beautiful greenish-yellow to golden yellow. Some fruits may exhibit a very slight "shy" rosy blush on the shoulders.

Weight: An average fruit weighs between 300g and 400g, though it can sometimes reach up to 500g.

2. Flavor and Texture
Taste: Known for an extremely sweet, rich, and aromatic flavor profile. It is often described as having a perfect balance of sweetness with subtle floral notes.

Texture: The pulp is a deep orange-yellow or saffron color. It is prized for being fiberless (non-fibrous) and very juicy, offering a smooth, buttery mouthfeel.

Core: The stone (seed) is relatively small compared to the amount of pulp, providing a high fruit-to-seed ratio.

3. Cultivation and Season
Harvest Season: It is a mid-season variety, typically available from late May through June.

Growth Habit: The trees are vigorous and are often "heavy bearers," meaning they produce a large quantity of fruit.

Grafted Varieties: Modern Kishan Bhog saplings are usually grafted, which allows the trees to stay more compact (suitable for home gardens) and begin fruiting much earlier (within 2–3 years) than seed-grown trees.

4. Best Uses
Because of its superior taste and lack of fiber, Kishan Bhog is primarily used as a table fruit (eaten fresh). However, its rich aroma and smooth texture also make it excellent for:
