1. Size & Shape
Size: It is a medium-to-large variety of guava. A single fruit typically weighs between 300 to 600 grams, though exceptionally well-farmed ones can grow even larger.

Shape: It generally has a round to slightly pear-like (pyriform) shape. The base is often slightly bumpy or ribbed rather than perfectly smooth.

2. Colour
Exterior (Skin): When ready to eat, the skin is a beautiful light green to pale yellowish-green.

Interior (Flesh): True to its name "Khao" (White), the thick inner flesh is a clean, creamy white.

3. Texture
Crisp and Airy: Unlike some guavas that can be rock-hard or unpleasantly woody, the Kao Nam Pueng is prized for being ultra-crisp yet tender. It has a high water content, giving it a very refreshing, juicy crunch when you bite into it.

Flesh-to-Seed Ratio: It has a very thick wall of edible flesh. The seed cavity in the center is relatively small, and the seeds themselves are fewer and softer compared to wild or common guava varieties.

Flavor: It is exceptionally sweet for a guava (hence the name "Honey"). It strikes a perfect balance of rich sweetness with a very mild, refreshing tropical acidity.
