Size: Medium to large. Depending on how much care the tree receives (and proper pruning), a single fruit can weigh anywhere from 150 grams to 400 grams (roughly the size of a medium to large apple).

Texture: Wonderfully contrasting. The outer skin and the outermost layer of flesh provide a soft, satisfying crunch. As you get closer to the center, the texture shifts into a smooth, soft, and incredibly juicy pulp. Pink guavas naturally have less "grit" and a higher water content than standard white guavas.

Color: * Exterior: The skin starts as a bright green and turns to a soft yellowish-green or creamy yellow when it is fully ripe and ready to eat.

Interior: Cutting it open reveals a striking, vibrant pink to deep reddish flesh. This gorgeous blush is caused by lycopene, the exact same healthy antioxidant found in tomatoes and watermelons!

Flavor & Aroma: This is where it shines. While white guavas are often eaten slightly underripe with salt and chili for a tart crunch, pink guavas are a true dessert fruit.
