Cac Mango Aam Grafted Healthy Fruit Plant

The fruit is medium to large, typically weighing between 14 to 22 ounces (approx. 400–620g). It has a distinct ovate or heart-like shape and smooth, thin skin. When ripe, it turns a bright canary yellow, often developing small black dots (lenticels) that resemble grains of sand—hence its Vietnamese name, which translates to "Sand Mango."

The interior features a vibrant, deep-orange flesh that is completely fiberless. Its texture is notably smooth and creamy, often compared to silk or butter, while maintaining enough firmness to make it easy to slice without falling apart.

Cac is famous for its unique and intense flavor. It offers a rich, floral sweetness balanced by a sharp acidic component. Many enthusiasts describe a specific "cola syrup" or "soda pop" aftertaste, accompanied by notes of citrus, melon, and a hint of pleasant resin.

Unlike some dwarf varieties, the Cac tree is very vigorous and has a spreading growth habit. It grows quickly and produces a broad, open canopy. To keep it manageable in a backyard setting (around 15 feet), it requires an aggressive pruning and "tipping" regimen every year.

It is a mid-season mango, usually ripening from late June through July. The variety is prized for being a consistent, heavy producer and shows excellent resistance to Anthracnose and Bacterial Black Spot, though its flowers can be sensitive to powdery mildew during wet springs.
