Baptist Mango Aam Grafted Healthy Fruit Plant

The fruit is oval-shaped and typically weighs between 8 to 16 ounces (approx. 225–450g). Its skin is smooth, non-waxy, and turns a vibrant bright yellow to orange when fully ripe.

One of its most defining features is its firm, deep-orange flesh. Unlike many tropical mangos that are soft or "melting," the Baptiste remains quite firm. It is remarkably fiber-free, making it an excellent choice for slicing or eating fresh.

The flavor is sweet and rich with a complex "West Indian" profile. When peak-ripe, it has a candy-like sweetness; if eaten slightly under-ripe, it can have unique, pleasant undertones of carrot or resin. It is less juicy than other varieties, which makes it less messy to eat.

The tree has a vertical growth habit with medium vigor, making it easier to manage in smaller gardens than sprawling varieties. It features characteristic light green, relatively small leaves and is known for being a consistent, heavy producer.

In subtropical climates like Florida, it is a mid-season mango, typically ripening in July. The fruit has a reasonably long shelf life and shows good resistance to common issues like bacterial black spot, though the flowers can be sensitive to high humidity (anthracnose).
