OuterSkin: Smooth and thin. Unlike some varieties with thick, bitter rinds, the skin of the Bahia guava is completely edible and adds a very slight, pleasant snap to the bite.

Flesh/Pulp: The interior boasts a thick, dense, and creamy white mesocarp. It strikes a perfect balance between being soft enough to yield easily when bitten, yet firm enough to hold its shape well.

Seed Cavity: One of the most celebrated traits of the Bahia White is its very small central seed cavity. This means you get a much higher ratio of edible, fleshy fruit and far fewer of those notoriously hard, gritty guava seeds per bite.

ColourExterior (Skin): Starts as a deep, vibrant green when young. As it reaches peak maturity, it transitions to a light, bright yellowish-green or soft yellow.

Interior (Flesh): Underneath the skin lies a thick layer of snow-white to creamy-white flesh. It does not contain the pink or salmon hues found in desert/pink guava varieties.
